STUPIDBOOK, a magazine pulling my educational story together. It focuses on my ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities. It has been an emotional and cathartic project. The fun concept of photo shoots expressing my old school uniform in a liberating, non-conforming expression, challenging theconventional perception of school uniforms that everyone should be the same in brain and look has liberated me and released me. I have delved into the intricacies ofmy own mind through reports and brain scans and expressed how it’s made me feel. This project has helped me understand what I am made of and how I’ve reacted with the formal educational rejection along with the acceptance to an Institution where I have been allowed to start at the beginning and finish at the end with all the other students for the first time in my whole educational path without being asked to leave because my academics are not up to scratch. I found my place and finally feel free. I have completed a system and been accepted. It has been rewarding to explore and share my experiences with others. It tells my story – Be Fucking Nice and Be Fucking You.
